Yes, the parade journeys down the entire 5½ mile parade route. This should take about 2½ hours.A. The parade begins promptly at 8:00 am. It is recommended you are seated by 7:00 a.m. if seated at the start of the parade west of Fair Oaks Ave. Otherwise we recommend being seated by 8:00 a.m. Regardless of where you are seated you should plan to arrive in the area at least two hours prior.A. We have no control where the 25+ bands will play. However, we do know that no matter which area you are seated, you will see all the bands and hear most of them play. Where they take a break will be different for each band.A. Most all of the grandstands are elevated at least five feet at the first row. Therefore, regardless of height you will see the parade. It is entirely up to your individual preference.A. Probably. The grandstands are elevated above the crowds, so it should not be a problem.A. Yes, all seats are reserved and numbered. We have ushers at each grandstand to help guide you to your assigned seat.A. No, they are all bench seats. You are welcome to bring your stadium seat attachments with backs. If your seats are in the top row you will have a guardrail behind you to lean on.A. If a child is two years of age or younger they may sit on an adults lap. Otherwise, they need a ticket like everyone else.A. We are happy to work with travel agencies and tour operators who wish to reserve group tickets. Bus parking is available near all seating areas. Please contact us directly.A. You should plan to arrive 2 hours prior to the estimated time of arrival of the parade for your seating area. The Rose Parade and its events will go on rain or shine. Umbrellas are not allowed in the grandstands.A. No. The closest you can get to the parade route for drop off or pick up is at least four to five blocks from the grandstands. Heavy traffic makes this extremely difficult.A. You may leave at any time. However, depending on where you are parked, it may be difficult or impossible to get your car out before the parade is over.A. You may have to consent to a reasonable search for admittance into parade area or grandstand.Width between the seats measures 18¼ inches. Customers who encroach upon any part of the neighboring seat(s) may proactively purchase the needed number of seats prior to event in order to ensure the additional seat(s) is available. This helps to ensure we can accommodate all customers on the grandstand for which they purchased a ticket and avoid asking customers to relinquish their seats for an unplanned accommodation.
